Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hey everyone! Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm not Irish, nor do I have any traditions for this day but I like it just the same! I hope you're wearing green! Do any of you have traditions for this day? Let me know!

  1. Nope...my family never celebrated it...but I still think it'd be fun. Even if it's just something silly like baking and decorating little green four leaf clover sugar cookies or green lemonade or something. I don't even have anything green to wear this year! I have to work on that for next year!

  2. Hi Sister! Happy St. Patty's day... we never really had any traditions growing up but my mom recently started making corned beef and cabbage and I do like corned beef :)

The crazy thing is last year this day was seriously one of the worst days I can remember... I went to my parents, crying and anxious the whole time, then to rehearsal for praise team and cried the whole time and I think that was the first night you came over to talk. I love you for that! Thanks so much for helping me through that time in my life, it's been a year!

  4. Happy St. Patty's Day to you too! I think I have about 1/2 a teaspoon of Irish blood in me, and I sure celebrate it to the max :-)! I love all things Irish anyway, bagpipes, celtic dancing, the music, the knots, everything... Last Saturday we went to our local Festival (a few pics from it over at Windy Poplars), and this Saturday I'm hosting an Irish Dinner Party where we'll eat that corned beef/cabbage/potato soup goodness. Growing up my mom used to make our milk green in our cereals on St. Patty's Day :-) Lots of fun memories from this holiday, but I don't want to take up all your comment space! Cheers!
